History
Studio 4.0 was established in February 2008 by Stephen “PK” Kusi (Founder and CEO). Mr. Kusi whose parents hail from Ghana, West Africa has been involved in music since he can remember. A drummer at heart, Stephen is well rounded and very knowledgeable when it comes to playing other instruments. As a child, he had the opportunity to play and exercise his passion with some well known artists in the Gospel arena in Ghana, and US.
Whether he was in the marching band in high school or college, playing the drums and keyboards at his church (Faith Family Ministries Int'l), or just creating his own beats on his down time, Stephen’s heart and soul has always cried “Music”. As he got older, he got the opportunity to work at well established studios in both Los Angeles, CA (Courtesy of Mr. Fortune Ortega-a producer, Keyboardist and Guitarist from Nigeria) and Woodbridge, VA where he got the chance to master his skills as a Music Producer.
Through his love and his experience in the music industry, he got the vision to start his own recording studio. Studio 4.0 is founded upon the principle of Excellence. Hence the name “4.0”. Our goal is to produce songs that will transcend cultures, ethnicity, religion, country and race. We also want to help develop various artists who will in turn become part of our two recording labels (GPent-For Gospel Artist, and TAR-For Secular Music), as well as, produce different styles of music (Jazz, Latin, Reggae, Gospel, African American, etc).
We strive to produce well organized and meaningful songs that will touch the hearts and lives of anyone who listens to it. Here at Studio 4.0 we want everyone who comes and works with us to feel like they are part of a family with one Goal and Desire…to produce “Great Hits.”
We will always strive to make sure our customer’s needs are met, and that when you walk out of the door at the end of each recording session, you feel your work is in great hands.
